EyeFi is an SD card with build-in WiFi. You can upload your picture directly to flickr or some 25 other online photo sharing sites. A little app on your computer imports the pictures automatically into your local photo library. How it works: You insert the EyeFi card just like a regular SD memory card. Then you take your pictures. If a Wifi connection is available, your picture show auto-magically up on your computer or online site. Works with Macs and PCs.
The card can store 2GB worth of images and uploads them as soon as one of the pre-configured netwroks is in range. A 'high-end' version even tries to find out your location based on the wireless networks within range and geo-tags your pictures. EyeFi starts at $79 USD and can be purchased at Ritz Camera store (sales staff is mostly clueless and does not know about the card. They don't bother looking for it and will try to sell you a regular SD card instead... EyeFi comes in different flavors (Home, Share, Explore, Anniversary) that have different feature sets. I am using EyeFi Share, since I like the auto-upload feature but don't need the geo-tagging functionality.

P.S.: No, I have no relationship with EyeFi other than as a regular user.
